Gopal Chamarmani regular rice, sometimes called Chamar Mani or Chamal Mar Mani, is a lesser-known rice type grown largely in South Asia. It is prized for its particular scent and smooth texture, comparable to basmati, albeit with shorter grains. This kind is extremely popular in Bangladesh and India, where it is commonly used in traditional meals including as biryanis, pilafs, and other sweet rice sweets.
Chamarmani rice has a nutritional profile comparable to other white rice varieties, with a high carbohydrate content, moderate protein, and low fat. It is also often gluten-free, making it appropriate for people who are gluten sensitive. Like other white rice kinds, it is rather poor in fiber. However, mixing it with vegetables or legumes can help balance fiber intake.
